We had the opportunity to renovate a cafe called Gryphon located in Wayne. Gryphon Cafe holds a special place in my heart, as it’s been a part of my life for over 20 years. I met my wife there while I was painting a mural for the owner. Working on this project was incredibly rewarding—transforming the space while preserving its original charm and history made it even more meaningful.

Located in Wayne, Pennsylvania, AP Lohmann General Contracting completed a commercial renovation and fit-out for a historic café, thoughtfully updating the existing space while preserving the character of the building. The project included interior renovations, custom carpentry, and finish upgrades designed to improve functionality and refresh the customer experience. By carefully integrating modern improvements with the building’s historic features, the renovated café maintains its original charm while providing an updated and inviting atmosphere for patrons and staff alike.
