Custom Storm Windows

Preserve. Protect. Perform.

Our custom wood storm windows are crafted to complement historic windows while providing added energy efficiency, weather protection, and noise reduction. Each storm is individually templated and fabricated for a precise fit using solid Sapele Mahogany and traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery. Each storm window comes with swappable glass and screen panels, allowing the panels to be changed seasonally.  Storm frames are finished in linseed oil paint or conventional paint, color-matched to the existing windows and trim, and installed with traditional hanging hardware for a durable, seamless addition to your historic home.

Conventional Paint

Modern paints—such as acrylic latex and alkyd enamels—are widely used today and provide a different form of protection. They seal the surface to create a durable barrier against moisture and UV exposure, offer a broad range of color options to complement any design, and require less short-term maintenance.
Linseed Oil

Linseed oil is a traditional, plant-based finish that penetrates deep into the wood fibers, nourishing and strengthening the material from within. We source ours from Earth + Flax, a company known for crafting high-quality, sustainable, and historically accurate finishes.
