L.P Worthington Window and Shutter Restoration, Doylestown PA
AP Lohmann completed a comprehensive historic window and shutter restoration project in Doylestown, PA, focused on preserving original craftsmanship while improving long-term performance. The scope included restoring both solid panel and louvered wood shutters, followed by finishing with traditional linseed oil paint for durability and breathability.
Original wood windows were carefully restored using linseed oil treatments and fitted with durable bronze chain systems for operation. Existing hardware was repaired and conserved to maintain authenticity. To enhance energy efficiency while respecting the building’s historic character, we fabricated and installed custom, period-appropriate storm windows designed to seamlessly match the original architecture.
